Ralph
G. Martinez
Principal Attorney
With 30 years of experience as a transactional and
trial lawyer, Ralph G. Martinez is the principal and
founder of the Martinez Law Group.
A Southern California native and longtime resident of
Orange County, Ralph is admitted to practice in
California’s state and federal courts and in the United
States Supreme Court. He has worked with clients
throughout Southern California, the United States,
Canada, Mexico, Asia, Europe and South America. He also
maintains an extensive referral network of lawyers and
other service professionals who contribute their
expertise in a collaborative association with MLG.
While he concentrates his practice on
real estate
and business
issues, Ralph has extensive experience representing
plaintiffs and defendants in all aspects of civil
litigation
and as outside
general counsel. Involved from initial
consultation through appeal, he has handled a variety of

Of note is the $1,774,000.00 jury verdict he obtained
for the plaintiff in the Orange County, California case

Ralph is a graduate of Azusa Pacific College (B.A.
1975) and California Western School of Law (J.D. 1978).
In law school, he served as Executive Editor of the

Edward R. Sublett
Of Counsel
Joining the Martinez Law Group in 2007, Edward R.
Sublett brings 25 years of experience overseeing diverse
litigation and transactional business matters. While
corporate counsel for a Fortune 500 company, he was
responsible for:
Domestic and international transactions
Acquisitions
Corporate training in employment and
intellectual property law
As a practitioner, Edward is experienced in
anti-trust, commercial, employment and intellectual
property litigation as well as appellate practice. He is
admitted in California state and federal courts and has
argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Edward
has been active in the Orange County Bar Association and
its Mandatory Fee Arbitration Committee.
An avid traveler, he enjoys art, literature, writing,
painting, gourmet food, golfing, snorkeling and all
things Italian. In 2000, Edward completed coursework
toward a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. He has also
published poetry and completed a novel.
